48 hours of media consumption:

As a homework task I have been asked to write down every piece of media that I 'comsumed' over a two day period, starting on Sunday 27th November:
  • First thing in the morning I read The Sun Newspaper, and the supplement magazine that comes with it called 'Fabulous.' Both the magazine and newspaper contained a wide range of advertisements.
  • I then tuned into the BBC to watch Something For The Weekend, where John Bishop, the Liverpudlian comedian was being interviewed.
  • I then used the Facebook and Twitter Apps on my Phone, to check if I had any notifications or messages.
  • After replying I opened 'The Guardian on Facebook' Application to read a review on the Leonardo da Vinci exhibition that is running in London.
  • Later on whilst doing some work, I listened to an Audio-book on my iPod, it was 'Mistakes in the Background' by the performance poet Laura Dockrill.
  • For my English Literature Home work I watched a few episodes of Blackadder Goes Fourth on the video player.
  • Later on in the afternoon, I watched the Liverpool vs Man City match with my family.
  • In the evening I went to Oakengates theatre to watch my friend Emma's dance show. The show was a Disney theme, and also featured a recording of a performance at The Albert Hall, which was available for people to purchase on both DVD and BlueRay.
    Monday 28th November:
    • First thing in the morning I turned on 'Daybreak' to watch the weather forecast.
    • I also had a quick check of my emails.
    • At school during Media, we watched several examples of different British Crime Dramas, including Spooks, The Bill and Inspector Frost.
    • In my free periods I used the internet to do some homework.
    • After school, I looked after my sister and younger cousins, so we watched the CBBC Channel. By pressing the red button we were able to watch a Sing a Long version of Horrible Histories, (although this was a very clever feature, potentially wasn't the best idea with four noisy children!!)
    • I then had a quick look at Tumblr, A blogging site that I use.
    • And finally I watched Russell Howard's Good News on my laptop using BBC iPlayer, before going to bed.
